The short version. Your debts, balances, payments and progress are stored on your own device, in your own browser. They are not sent to us, because there is no “us” to send them to — DebtFree Dashboard has no server and no user accounts. We cannot see your numbers, and neither can anyone else unless you choose to share them.

Everything you enter into the app — debt names, balances, interest rates, minimum payments, payment history, lump sums, extra payments and milestones — is stored using your browser's local storage, on the device you entered it on.
The practical consequence: if you clear your browser data, that information is gone, and we cannot restore it. Use Export Backup in Settings to keep your own copy.
The app may offer an optional backup to your own Google Drive. If you use it:
drive.file permission, which lets the app see and change
only the single backup file it creates. It cannot read anything else in your Drive.Purchases are handled by Gumroad, not by us. Card details are entered on Gumroad's systems and we never see or store them. After purchase you receive a licence key, which is stored locally on your device to unlock premium features.
We use analytics to understand how the site and app are used in aggregate — which pages people visit, roughly where in the world they are, what device they use. This is about usage patterns, not about you personally, and it never includes anything you typed into the app.
Your debt figures are not part of what these tools collect. You can block them with any standard browser content blocker without affecting how the app works.
The app loads fonts from Google Fonts and its charting library from the jsDelivr CDN. As with any web request, those providers can see your IP address and browser when the files are fetched. No data you entered is included in those requests.
We do not use cookies to identify you or to advertise to you. The analytics providers above may set their own cookies or storage; see their policies, linked above. The app's own storage is not a cookie and is never sent to a server.
Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to look up, export or delete on request — you already hold all of it.
DebtFree Dashboard is intended for adults managing their own debts and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
